Job Description

Labor And Employment Attorney for a remote, hourly position with Mercor, requiring 1-4 years of experience in employment/labor law, a J.D. or LL.B./LL.M. from an accredited law school, and a license to practice law in the U.S., Canada, or U.K.

Requirements

  • 1-4 years of professional experience in employment/labor law
  • J.D. (U.S./Canada) or LL.B./LL.M. (U.K.) from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in the U.S., Canada, or U.K. (active or inactive)
  • Strong experience with EEOC charge response, wage & hour analysis, severance and non-compete drafting, harassment investigations, employee handbook drafting, NLRB proceedings, or collective bargaining
  • Excellent written communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Class action/wage and hour collective experience (preferred)
  • Workplace investigation certification (AWI-CH) (preferred)
  • Multi-state employment compliance experience (preferred)
  • Familiarity with HRIS / case management tools (preferred)
