Job Description
The VP of Data role at 9amHealth is a strategic leadership position that requires ownership of the entire data function, including data engineering, analytics, and ML/AI. The successful candidate will lead a multi-discipline team and partner with the executive team to translate company strategy into a coherent data, analytics, and ML roadmap.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data leadership roles, preferably in healthcare or regulated industries
- Proven track record of owning a full data function end-to-end at scale
- Strong product and business instincts in addition to technical depth
- Experience with experimentation, causal inference, and A/B testing in healthcare contexts
- Familiarity with PHI/HIPAA and compliance, privacy, and security implications of data work in healthcare
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to make decisions with imperfect data and prioritize tradeoffs between platform investment, analytics throughput, and ML/AI bets
