SUMMARY

Responsible for designing effective Salesforce solutions that support business operations and platform growth across the division. This role works closely with business stakeholders and developers to translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions. This role plays a key role in shaping Salesforce capabilities, improving business workflows, and ensuring that technology solutions align with enterprise goals, platform best practices, and long-term scalability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborates with stakeholders to define and document business requirements for Salesforce projects.

Translates business requirements into solution designs aligned with Salesforce capabilities, data models, and integration patterns.

Develops comprehensive business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process maps to guide the development and implementation teams.

Participates in design discussions and helps evaluate technical options for new features or enhancements.

Supports and/or facilitates UAT for Salesforce feature releases to ensure solutions meet requirements.

Partners with Salesforce administrators and developers to ensure configuration, customization, and integrations meet business needs, architectural standards and Salesforce best practices.

Evaluates system impacts, dependencies, and data flows across Salesforce and connected systems.

Documents system workflows, data mappings, and integration requirements to support development and long-term scalability.

Supports Agile ceremonies, as needed, such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Monitors and reports on key performance indicators (KPls) to measure the success and adoption of Salesforce initiatives.

Stays up to date with the latest Salesforce features, updates, and industry trends to inform business recommendations.

Evaluates business processes and recommends improvements through Salesforce configuration, automation, or integrations.

Fosters a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.

Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information).

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Six (6) or more years of business analyst or related experience

Six (6) or more years of experience creating user stories, process flows, and functional specifications

Four (4) or more years of business analyst experience with a Salesforce platform

Four (4) or more years of experience in analyzing business processes and designing Salesforce solutions

Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools, with strong leadership and mentoring skills

Experience translating business needs into functional and technical requirements

Experience gathering business requirements or facilitating stakeholder workshops

Experience with Salesforce integrations, APIs, or middleware

Experience with: Financial Services Cloud, Data Cloud, CRMA / Tableau, Einstein/Agentforce

Experience in the insurance or financial services industry

Salesforce Administration Certification

Platform App Builder Certification

Salesforce Business Analyst or Experience Designer Certification

Platform Developer I

SKILLS

Excellent attention to detail with the ability to summarize complex issues

Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities and best practices, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Lightning Experience.

Experience collaborating with developers and administrators on configuration and customization

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels
