We invite you to join Regeneron’s Global Rare Disease & Cardiometabolic Business Unit as our Director, Commercial Planning & Strategy. In this influential role, you will help advance the strategic planning and execution of our rare disease and cardiometabolic portfolio. Working closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams, you’ll drive operational alignment, shape commercial strategies, and contribute to meaningful decisions that impact patients worldwide. A Typical Day:

  • Leading cross-brand and cross-functional integration efforts to ensure operational efficiency.

  • Translating corporate goals into annual operational plans for international divisions.

  • Overseeing international distributor relationships to ensure effective product delivery and adherence to service standards.

  • Collaborating with marketing, R&D, and regulatory teams to align commercial objectives.

  • Managing thought leadership initiatives and enhancing executive visibility for business unit leaders.

  • Conducting strategic projects, such as indication assessments and pipeline recommendations.

  • Analyzing emerging trends and unmet needs in the rare and ultra-rare disease markets.

  • Evaluating industry data and brand performance metrics to support delivery of brand objectives.

To Be Considered:

Applicants must have at least 10 years of progressive industry or relevant professional experience, including 4–6 years within the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical market and rare disease expertise. Experience in business development, commercial operations, brand marketing, or consulting is required. Advanced degrees (PhD, MD, MBA), franchise or brand-level marketing experience, consulting backgrounds, and product launch expertise are strongly preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and the ability to travel internationally (10–15%) are expected. This is a remote-based role.
