About the Team
Our Account Development Strategy & Operations team is responsible for designing, building, and running a world-class sales organization to successfully grow our SMB restaurants through leading product solutions.
We are looking for an experienced Manager to be at the forefront of DoorDash’s evolution from a marketplace to a premier technology partner. You will drive the strategy and operational backbone for Digital Ordering, our flagship white-label solution that empowers merchants to host commission-free ordering on their own websites. Your work will directly enable local businesses to grow their digital brands and own their customer relationships using DoorDash’s world-class logistics and technology.
About the Role
The ideal candidate is a builder who thrives in ambiguity but grounds their work in uncompromising operational rigor. You will be responsible for defining the annual sales vision and strategy, translating high-level company objectives into actionable initiatives and track success. You will balance strategic vision with the technical and operational discipline required to stand up new functions and systems, audit sales funnels, and leverage cutting-edge AI to maximize productivity. You will report to the Senior Manager of Sales Strategy & Operations, working at the intersection of Marketing, Product, Sales, and other functions to build a highly disciplined, scaled, predictable revenue engine

- Set the strategic north star: You will help define the annual sales vision, ensuring it aligns with DoorDash’s overarching goal of becoming a merchant's primary growth partner.
- Translate Strategy into Execution: You will help achieve demanding quarterly sales targets, focusing the team on key growth drivers to maintain consistent and rapid expansion.
- Establish Operational Governance: You will run the cadence of the business, including Weekly Business Reviews, ensuring every lead, opportunity, and deal is tracked with precision.
- Drive sales acceleration through rigor: You will improve the efficiency of our sales team by implementing tooling and systems updates, and optimizing the sales funnel through meticulous measurement and inspection for where we are succeeding or need improvement.
- Innovate with AI: You will lead constant discovery on the latest AI tools and technologies to drive step-function improvements in sales productivity and outreach effectiveness.
We’re excited about you because…
- You have 8+ years of experience in any of the following fields: strategy & operations, business consulting, analytics, sales/business planning
- You have a proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives, hitting goals, and succeeding in a complex and fast moving environment
- You have a bachelor’s degree or higher
- You’re an excellent analytical thinker who can deliver actionable recommendations out of complex datasets; SQL experience strongly preferred as is experience with Salesforce/Excel
- You map complex operational workflows, diagnose data gaps, and architect AI-driven solutions end-to-end—from process discovery through prototype to production deployment. You build in AI tooling (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) and ship real automation that eliminates manual work, closes visibility gaps, and accelerates decision-making across the business. You think in systems, not features. You treat every broken process as a build opportunity and every data gap as a use case waiting to be deployed. This is not an AI-curious role; this is an AI-native operating environment where you are expected to build, test, and iterate continuously.
